Inquest Opened Into Fisherman's Death

An inquest has been opened an adjourned at the Coroners Court in Dorchester this afternoon into the death of a Weymouth fisherman.

35-year-old David McFarlane was the skipper of the fishing boat the Purbeck Isle which sunk off of Portland last week.

The bodies of the two other fisherman on board are yet to be found.

Weymouth and Portland Fisherman and Boatman's Association have launched a memorial fund in their memory which is getting donations from all over the country.
