Over 180 piglets and 18 sows have been killed in a massive fire at a farm near Weymouth.

6 Fire Crews from Dorset were called to a blaze at Courtland Farm in Friar Wadden at around 8:30pm last night (Thursday 24th May).

A large farrowing unit suffered severe fire damage and none of the pigs survived.

Fire Officers are returning to the scene where they'll try to piece together what happened.

It's thought the cause of the fire was accidental.
