Regimemtal Association Helps Injured Soliders

Keep Museum

Members of the Devon and Dorset Regimental Association have visited the Keep Military Museum in Dorchester to present a cheque for £1,171.33 to the regimental charity Care for Casualties.

The funds were raised during an open day at South Dorset's MP Richard Drax's Charborough Park Estate, where different stalls and military vehicles were on display.

Brigadier Toomey said "I am very grateful for this splendid amount. The money is in great need to help the relatives of those who have lost their lives, and also to assist the significant number of soldiers who have been wounded, some very severely. I'd like to thank all those involved in making the event such a success."
