A man's allegedly been glassed in the face in a Dorset Bar.

Police say the victim received serious facial injuries in the attack that happened in The East Bar in High Street in Swanage around 11.50pm on Sunday 3rd June.

The 21 year old man was from Surrey.

A 24 year old man from Swanage was cut in the face and eye from flying glass.

Both were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Detective Constable Steve Brown, of County CID, said: "Both men are recovering well, but these injuries are likely to live with them for the rest of their lives.

"It appears that both men have been lucky not to lose their sight, however permanent damage is still a possibility that cannot be ruled out.

"I would like anyone who was there and can recall what happened to get in touch with Dorset Police".

Two men aged 26, and one aged 28, all from Swanage, have been arrested and released on bail while enquiries continue.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 3;605. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
