One person's been taken to hospital after an accident involving three vehicles near Dorchester this morning.

It happened just after 8am West of Monkey's Jump round-a-bout.

A car and two vans were involved and the road was closed for a time.

Meanwhile, a driver had a lucky escape after their car ended up on its roof after an accident on the A356 between Maiden Newton and Frampton around 7.20am this morning.

The Citroen C3, registered to a woman from Dorchester, was the only car involved, and Police say there are no reports of anyone being injured.
