West Dorset Villagers Come Up With A Plan
9:24am 14th June 2012
Members of a small village near Beaminster have banded together to give the community one voice.
The Broadwindsor Parish Group is made up of local residents who're trying to find ways to improve the area and tackle local issues.
Questionnaires were circulated earlier in the year to every household in the group parish. A number of residents voiced concern over the former village shop which closed 10 months ago.
Key findings have been implemented into a Parish Plan and will be discussed at meeting tonight (14th June 2012) at Comrades Hall from 7:30pm, and another meeting at Drimpton Village Hall on Tuesday 19th June from the same time.
Both meetings will take the form of a wine and cheese evening and entry is free.
