Dorset Hospital Warns of Congestion During Olympics

(Updated 8:35am 18th June 2012)
People are being encouraged to leave extra time to get to hospital appointments when the Olympic Torch comes to town.
This applies to patients going to Dorset County Hospital on the 12th of July when the Flame arrives and also those travelling to Weymouth Hospital the next day.
Thousands are expected to turn out causing congestion around the town.
Patients will need to take their appointment letter to park on site.
All patients with appointments on those days are being written to advise them to allow more time for travelling. Anyone who has queries or concerns should call the phone number on their appointment letter.
