Young Cyclist Arrives In Weymouth On Olympic Cycle Challenge
9:11am 30th June 2012
A 12-year-old boy, who set himself the challenge of cycling across the country to all the Olympic venues, has arrived in Weymouth.
Jake Phipps will visit the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy later.
He's hoping his mammoth cycle challenge will raise near £20,000 for charities Action for Children and Access Sport, both which help vulnerable kids.
Jake is no stranger to cycling challenges.
In 2010, he cycled 660 miles from Land's End to Dover and raised £1,500 for Action for Children after being inspired to take up cycling after the Beijing Olympic Games.
