Police are trying to trace an expensive bike worth £800 that was stolen from a high-street in Weymouth.

The blue and white Scott Speedster model was taken from Frederick Place sometime around 5:30pm on Sunday 17th June.

The bicycle has a white saddle.

Anyone who may know its whereabouts should contact Dorset Police.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged.

Police Constable Amanda Pierce, of Weymouth CID, said: "We are appealing for information as to the whereabouts of this missing bicycle.

"We would urge anyone who may have purchased a similar bicycle for an unusually low price or in suspicious circumstances to contact Dorset Police in confidence."
