Big Screen Live Site Open on Weymouth Beach for Olympics

Weymouth's free 'Live Site' opens to the public this lunchtime (Friday 27th July 2012).
The arena at the Pavilion end of the beach can hold 15,000 people and you DON'T need a ticket to get in, it's totally FREE of charge.
There's plenty of entertainment all afternoon before the actual Olympic opening ceremony's shown live on the big screen from 9pm tonight.
They'll also be a fireworks display later on in the evening.
Officials say it will be very busy so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
