Little Boy Searching for Dorset's "Buzz Lightyear" Policeman

Bailey

(Updated 11:40am 7th August 2012)

11:38am 7th August 2012

A 5 year old boy who was involved in a serious car accident in West Bexington wants to say thank you to a Policeman who helped him.

Bailey Kelleway was travelling with his step Dad along the Coast road on Friday 3rd August 2012, when they were forced to swerve to avoid a road accident.

The car rolled over ended up on its roof.

Luckily Bailey was strapped into his seat tightly and escaped with only a few scratches and bruises.

He was treated at hospital and cheered up by the presence of one local Police Officer who went only by the nickname of "Buzz Lightyear" - because he said he has a big square chin. The kind Policeman gave Bailey a teddy, and the youngster wants to meet him again to say thank you.

Grandmother Helen Thorne says they have little info to go on, but they're keen to track down this mystery man.
