Help For Military Families In Dorset

A grant of nearly £26,000's  being spent on projects to bring military and civilian communities closer together in Dorset.

The MoD's grant's aimed at benefiting 5,000 servicemen and another 2,000 family members  near Blandford and Bovington camps.

£20,000's being spent on setting up a  community clasroom serving those living in Bovington, Wool and Bere Regis so they can access education without having to travel from their rural locations.

Blandford Museum's won nearly £6,000  for a project to help the families of Blandford based soldiers record their family and service history.
