Claire Robertson, who rose to fame for saving Dorchester's Woolworths from closure is the new Chair of the Dorchester Business Improvment District.

It's all change at the top for the Dorchester BID.

Chairman Keir Francis is retiring after 7 years in the role, making way for a new chair with fresh ideas.

The BID is a collection of local businesses who work together to improve shopping around town.

Claire Robertson is taking over and is a well-known figure in Dorchester for her former role at Wellchester.

The BID is heading toward its 2nd ballot next year and Claire is looking forward to leading the charge.

She's been working with the BID for 3 years.
