Footballing legend Sir Geoff Hurst wants us to get behind a Dorset football hero who's up for a national award.

65-year-old Bob Mowlem is the Chairman of the Dorset Youth Football League.

He's been volunteering for 50 years and is already a regional winner in the FA Community Awards.

It celebrates the players, coaches and volunteers who've been nominated by their peers.

Sir Geoff is the McDonalds Director of Football.

He said: 'It's clear that a sense of community spirit is alive and well in Dorset and I hope they all support and get behind Bob by voting ahead of the national finals in October'.

Voting is now open. To cast your vote go to www.mcdonalds.co.uk/kickstart.
