Walking To Save Dorset's Wildlife

walk

2:06pm 23rd August 2012

You have just over a week to sign up for one of Dorset Wildlife Trust's annual Walks for Wildlife.

They're looking for entries for their 6, 12 or 22 mile walks which all pass through the Durlston Country Park and past Anvil Point.

DWT want your entries by the 31st, with the walks themselves taking place on September the 23rd.

Last year the Walk for Wildlife raised more than £50,000 for the Trust.

Register before the end of August for early bird prices and you’ll also have more time to raise money for the event. Sturdy footwear and suitable clothing is advisable.  There will be refreshments available and all who participate will receive certificates and medals for their achievements. So, give the kids something to look forward to after the summer holidays are over – and don’t forget your canine companion!  Register at dorsetwildlifetrust.org.uk/w4w, ring 01305 264620 or turn up from 7am on the day at Leeson House, Langton Matravers.
