A Dorchester support group for young people with different sexual orientations is meeting again tonight after a summer break.

The Stars Project was started by Daniel Spracklen at the age of 15 after he was bullied at school.

Tonight's meeting's at the Dorchester Youth Centre from 6.45 till 9pm.

Daniel was given the Wessex FM Inspirational Youth Award this year.

This month he's also launching a brand new group at Weymouth College for college students, which will run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday lunch, 12 - 1pm from 11th September at Weymouth College.

A free bowling trip is on offer for everyone who attends this group.

Dan says:  "We're looking for a college student to help us run this group on Thursdays, anyone interested should contact us via our Facebook page, call us on 07980227450 or email, it's exciting to create another free place for young LGBT people and their friends, Stars will be a great thing for the college to have"

For more information, visit the Stars website , find them on Facebook OR follow them on Twitter

You can also contact the project by phone onc 07980 227450 or email
