Dorset's Top Cop's New Roles

Changes at the Top of Dorset Police have come into force, folling the retirement of former Chief Constable Martin Baker, after eight years in the role.

Debbie Simpson, who joined the force as  Deputy Chief Constable last year, now becomes Acting Chief Constable.

Adrian Whiting moves from Assistant Chief Constable to Acting Deputy Chief Constable.

The appointments were made by the Dorset Police Authority Chief Appointments Committee last month.
