Pressure on Dorset Council's to Share Parking Revenue Figures
7:55am 31st October 2012
Council's in Dorset could be forced by the Government to come clean over parking charges.
Proposed changes to transparency rules will mean Councils will have to publish the number of off street and on street parking places and the revenue raised from them.
They'll also have to tell us how much they make from parking fines.
According to the Government almost 7 in 10 people avoid shopping areas with high parking prices and 4 out of 5 of us pay up to 150 pounds a month to park.
