Weymouth Dancers At Royal Albert Hall

Published at 12:04am 4th November 2012.

Students from Weymouth's Quay Theatre Arts are performing at the Royal Albert Hall today.

Ten of them will take part in Dance Proms, alongside 25 other acts from across the country.

It's the second year in a row that youngsters from the Weymouth group, who are aged between 14 and 17, have been selected, and it coincides with the school's 10th anniversary.

The dancers will perform a lyrical modern dance piece to Sting's  'Every Breath you Take'.

Dance Proms was launched last year to find the UK and Ireland's most talented dance students. Proms patrons include Anton du Beke, Len Goodman, Wayne Sleep and Darcy Bussell.
