Two 6th form students in Weymouth have made an award winning film about the portrayal of politicians in daily newspapers.
Rhys Tanner and Evie Gibson from Budmouth were invited to the Houses of Parliament.
They were interviewed by a panel of judges which included the Speaker of the House John Bercow and Doreen Lawrence the mother of Stephen Lawrence.
Ryhs and Evie beat three other entries to win the prize and their 4 minute film will be shown on the Parliament Channel in December.
Politics teacher at Budmouth Andy Blackwood commented "As a college we're very proud of Rhys and Evie's achievement. It's the first time our students have entered this competition so we really didn't know what to expect, but their video was both technically good and very thought provoking. Spending the day in the Speaker's chambers was interesting and meeting Doreen Lawrence, in particular, was a real pleasure. Naturally we're tremendously excited at the prospect of going back up to London for the Awards Dinner and having the video played in front of many leading politicians and media figures."
