Christmas Trees Go Up In Dorchester
3:24pm 27th November 2012
By the end of the week, it's hoped Dorchester's high street will be transformed in time for the festive season.
Over a hundred Christmas trees are being put up, but the yearly tradition nearly didn't go ahead.
During December it's a familiar site around the town, lots of pretty Christmas trees, put-up outside businesses decorating the town.
But when the trees were brought out this year, they were in desperate need of new lights that would have cost each shop £75 +.
Thanks to a 3 way partnership between the Town Council, the BID and Trinity Street Christmas Trees ... The festive ferns have new colourful light sets at no extra cost to local businesses.
It's hoped they'll all be up by the end of the week.
