Coca Cola Bring Festive Cheer to Weymouth

9:02am 16th December 2012

We all know that the famous Coca Cola truck advert gracing our TVs can only mean one thing, the holidays are coming, and so are the iconic trucks.

Weymouth fans of the legendary vehicles will be given a real festive treat today as the Coca Cola Truck tour kicks off at the Asda superstore on Newstead Road.

From 10 till 4, the store will be turned into a winter wonderland complete with Christmas trees and festive helpers serving the well-loved soft drink.

The trucks will stop at 64 towns and cities before finishing at Brighton on the 23rd December.

Coca Cola's Marketing Director, Zoe Howorth hopes the truck tour will help everyone get into the festive spirit: "We're looking forward to spreading the holiday spirit and kick-starting the celebrations across the country along the way."

Coca Cola Christmas trucks first appeared on TV screens in November 1995 and have since become a regular favourite in over 100 different countries.
