Bridge House Opens Its Doors
10:22am 17th December 2012
Bridge & Signal house in Dorchester opened its doors to local councillors and residents at an open afternoon on Friday 30th November.
The striking new development which began construction in February 2011 is due to be completed in the next week, with the new residents moving in over the Christmas period.
Magna Housing Association took the opportunity to invite local councillors and residents who have seen the properties being built to view inside. Magna have 46 properties on site, 20 for shared ownership in Signal House and 26 for social rent in Bridge House.
David Aldwinckle Magna Housing Association director said, ‘we’d like to thank everyone who came along to our open afternoon, the feedback has been very positive. It was a good opportunity to see first hand the quality of our accommodation and speak first hand to Magna staff about the development.’
The open afternoon provided Magna with some excellent feedback. Dorchester Mayor Andy Canning commented, ‘I’ve watched the development go up with intrigue, I really like the modern design and how it makes best use of space. I’m delighted that some of the properties are available for shared ownership, giving people a chance to get on the property ladder.’
Councillor Vivienne Allan commented, ‘The flats are finished to a very high standard and are very spacious. I’m impressed, especially compared to other new builds I have seen.’
There are still a few shared ownership properties available in Signal House, please call Richard Neuman on 01305 214072 for further information.
