Coastguard Warning Over Unstable Cliffs Along Dorset Coast

news_coast

8:50am 31st December 2012

You risk serious injury or even death if you risk walking along cliff tops and the beaches beneath them according to Portland Coastguard staff.

They're keen we keep away from areas already cordonned off by them or other agencies including police.

Despite the deluge of rain that's hit the county over the previous few weeks, they say a sudden dry, cold spell could be as dangerous, making the surfaces unstable.
