There are moves to replace temporary nurses with more staff positions at Dorset County Hospital.
A recruitment drive is underway to get more full timers filling positions there.
The hospital's Director of Nursing Alison Tong is encouraging nurses to apply to join the dedicated Dorset County Hospital team: "To work as a nurse or midwife is an amazing privilege. Nurses play a pivotal role in nearly all aspects of patient care, from birth to death, in a variety of settings.
"At Dorset County Hospital we are committed to providing safe, compassionate care for everyone who uses our services.
"We have an experienced team of dedicated ward leaders who work with their teams to ensure every patient receives the care we would want for our own family. I am constantly touched by the care and compassion I see being delivered by nurses and midwives.
For full details about the opportunities available visit the hospital's website at www.dchft.nhs.uk where you can find direct links to the Dorset County Hospital pages on the NHS Jobs website. The deadline for applications is 24 February 2013.
