£5,000 of Kit Stolen from Dorchester Phone Shop

Vodafone

1:36pm 21st February 2013

Loads of expensive electrical items have been stolen from right under the noses of staff at a phone shop in Dorchester.

Audacious thieves walked into the Vodafone store along Cornhill on Tuesday (19th February) at around 5:15pm and ripped off mobile phones and iPads from their displays and walked out.

It's understood the four men then ran off down Antelope Walk.

Dorset Police say they made off with £5,000 worth of kit.

Police Constable Garry Mason, of Dorchester police, said: "I am very keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this theft take place, or may have information about those involved.

"I would also like to trace the stolen property and speak to anyone who has been offered mobiles or iPads in strange circumstances, possibly for an unusually low cash sum.

"No arrests have been made."

You can contact Dorset Police on 101.
