Landslips On The Rise
10:02am 5th April 2013
The number of landslides happening along the south coast is on the rise, according to new figures.
The South west Coast Path Association say there have been 30 landslips and clif falls since November, that's 10 times more than normal.
Between 2007 and 2012 there were JUST 11 major cliff falls in the region.
The new figures include incidents recorded this year at Burton Bradstock and Lyme Regis.
Some coast path diversions are still in place around the Dorset Coast to protect walkers from unstable cliffs
