Concerns have been raised over dog owners not picking up their dogs mess on Portland.

A group of campaigners say a main school road and the popular Victoria Gardens is often littered despite a number of dog bins there.

They surveyed the local areas to find the places worst affected.

Now, the group is trying to win some money to launch an awareness campaign on the island - you can vote for them to win the £1,500 grant here.

Portland Campaign Co-ordinator Georgina Bacon says it may sound disgusting but it's a serious problem: "We must make people aware of how the bad the problem is here on Portland. We have such a beautiful place here where we live, it's a real shame it's blighting our streets and coastal walk."

Georgina is encouraging people to get online and vote for them before voting closes tonight (Friday 12th April).
