8:01am 28th April 2013
Move over Tony Robinson - archaeology in Dorset is being given a fresh lease of life by a new group of local people.
Dorset Digger Community Archaeology wants to promote the county's important and rare human-made monuments.
They're launching a new website to publicise walks and talks around ancient hill forts and stone circles in Dorset which you can take part in.
Through research, survey and excavation their aim is to dig into all media outlets with local communities.
The first dig will be in Maiden Newton where the team will be making groundbreaking steps to uncover a lost and forgotten ancient structure.
If you would like to find out more, their Facebook has the details.
