Hospitalised Pensioner Has Purse Stolen From Bedside

Dorset County Hospital insists patient safety and security is a top priority, after a pensioner had her purse stolen from her bedside.
Valerie Leare from Weymouth, was being treated at the Dorchester Hospital after suffering a heart attack last week (2nd May).
While she was having a scan thieves raided her bedside locker and took a purse from her handbag.
Using the 69-year-old's bank cards, they managed to steal a large quantity of cash.
Hospital Staff quickly alerted the Police who're investigating.
In a statement on the Hospital's website the Trust say patients should always leave valuables at home and only bring a small amount of cash onto the wards.
Dorset Police has told us no one has been arrested yet.
