Players' Budget Cut For Magpies Boss

Dorchester Town manager Phil Simkin's reward for their highest ever points finish in the Conference South appears to be a cut in his budget for players.

The Magpies boss now has the difficult juggling act of keeping as many of his best players as possible and recruiting new talent while finances are restricted.

One player, Charlie Clough (22), who has football league experience with Bristol Rovers, has revealed on the Magpies' website he would be foolish to turn down the chance of playing at a higher level if a club came in for him.
