Dorchester and Weymouth meet at the Avenue Stadium for the Bob Lucas Trophy

Magpies and Terras meet in a pre season 'friendly' this afternoon

Former Magpies captain Nathan Walker returns to the Avenue, but in a Terras shirt this afternoon, adding spice to the normal rivalry between Dorchester and Weymouth.

The sides will play for the Bob Lucas Trophy, which will be shared if the scores are level after 90 minutes.

Dorchester boss Phil Simkin says he wouldn't have chosen the fixture but the income from the local derby will help the club's finances.

He's told Wessex FM,' The result's not so important, but my players avoiding injury is. The result that matters is the one against Staines (first league game of season) on August 17th'

Elsewhere it's a double header at St Mary's Stadium.
