Dorchester, Weymouth and Bridport all need wins, but for very different reasons

Dorchester Town will be looking to get their first win of the season when they take on Ebbsfleet United today (Saturday 31st August).

Their opponents sit 5 spots above the Magpies who are in the bottom 2 in the Skrill South.

Elsewhere, top of the league Weymouth will be looking to continue their run of 4 unbeaten league matches.

They're at home to Cambridge City at the Bob Lucas.

Terras manager Brendon King told us although they're flying at the moment, the they're not taking anything for granted:

"We're still in August and we've had a great start BUT that's all it is, a start. It's really important we build on that. As long as we do the things we're good at we give ourselves a chance."

And Bridport play in the preliminary round of the FA Cup against Merthyr.

Manager Trevor Senior told us they're missing a few key players through suspension and loan trouble, but they're ready for the challenge:

"We've got a game plan and hopefully the lads will stick to it. We know it's gonna be tough but if we get a decent crowd there and give ourselves a good account on the day we'll get the result we want."
