There was defeat for Weymouth in their first competitive match away at Biggleswade Town in Bedfordshire, losing 2-1.

Scott Walker converted a penalty in the second half, but the Terras came away empty handed. Next weekend they're away to Cirencester in the FA Cup.

Dorchester also lost away at Dover, 1-0. The home side also missed a penalty in the first half.

Bridport lost 2-0 at St. Marys to Odd Down.

In the Championship, Bournemouth came from 2-0 down to beat Millwall 5-2, and Yeovil lost 4-1 away at Middlesbrough.

In rugby, Dorchester were beaten 39-34 by Walcot, who staged a comeback in the last minutes of the game.

Weymouth's 2nd team beat Poole 31-8.
