Eddie Belt Is Back

Former Dorchester Town Football Club Chairman - Eddie Belt is making a return to the club.

Eddie - who also played for and managed the Magpies will be the new facilities director.

He'll be looking a developing a new function room and bar for the club.

Club co-chairman Neal Butterworth said: "We are ever so pleased to have Eddie back at the club. His knowledge of running this football club is second to none and his experience will be invaluable as the club looks to move forwards with a number of projects.

"Over the last few months, Eddie has been absolutely fantastic in advising and leading on our plans to develop an improved function facility that we believe will bring in regular non-matchday income in to the club. We are delighted to have him on board again and he will no doubt prove to be a popular addition to the board."

Belt will be formally co-opted on the board at the next meeting on the 28th October with his appointment subject to the FA's Directors and owners test.
