All 3 Of Our Sides In Action Today

All three of our local football teams are in action this afternoon (19th October) and there's plenty on the line.

Dorchester Town have had 2 weeks off to prepare for today's league match away to Maidenhead United who're 9 places above the Magpies in the Skrill South.

Our local side have been unlucky in their last 2 outings losing by a goal both matches.

Although Dorchester have only one league win so far, their opponents have been struggling of late, conceding 11 goals in their last 4 matches - all losses.

Phil Simkin's men will be looking to turn their fortunes around with a win that could see them escape the bottom of the league, a place they've become all too familiar with this season.

Across town, Weymouth are still going strong and will need to get past Bridgewater Town to progress to the next round of the FA Trophy.

The Terras will take to the field on a high after a big win in their FA Cup campaign last weekend, they'll also have the support of a home crowd at the Bob Lucas Stadium today.

And after back to back league defeats Bridport Town will be primed for a better outing when they host Slimbridge in the Toolstation Premier.

The Bees have narrowly missed out on 3 points their last 2 matches,
