The Magpies beat Maidenhead Utd 3-1 away, with captain Mark Jermyn opening the scoring, followed by Brandon Goodship adding a second just a minute later. The home side got one back towards the end of the second half, only for Brandon Goodship to score again, to give the Magpies all 3 points.

In the FA Trophy, Stewart Yetton was on target again for the Terras, as they beat Bridgewater 1-0. Their run of cup games continue, as their postponed game away at Bashley is coming up on Tuesday evening, and then they face Braintree in the FA Cup next Saturday.

Bridport came back from a goal down, thanks to Matt Morley, and picked up a point with a 1-1 draw at home to Slimbridge. The Bees next play Woolland Rovers on Tuesday evening.

In the Championship, Bournemouth drew 1-1 away at Nottingham Forest, and it was 0-0 at Huish Park between Yeovil and Brighton.

In rugby, Weymouth's 2nd team beat Blandford's 2nd team 29-17.
