Weymouth were clinical in dispatching opponents Bashley in the Red Insure Cup last night (Tuesday 22nd October) scoring 5 unanswered goals and keeping a clean sheet.

Next up for the Terras Braintree Town in the 4th Round of Qualifying for the FA Cup.

Elsewhere, quite the opposite score line for Dorchester Town who played Championship side Yeovil in a friendly.

They were thrashed 6-0. Manager Phil Simkin told Wessex FM he was keen to give some younger players a run out against the stronger Yeovil team.

And Bridport's woes continue, they lost 3-2 at Willand Rovers in the Toolstation League.

The Bees have been struggling of late and haven't won a match in 5 games.
