Racing - Rock On Ruby Comes Home Second

Harry Fry Racing

2:30pm 23rd October 2013

Dorset trained former champion hurdler 'rock on ruby' has come 2nd to rising star 'the new one' in his seasonal reappearance at Kempton.

Writing on his website, Trainer Harry Fry says the horse needed the race, and will revert back to wearing blinkers when he runs next month.

Fry, who trains near Broadwindsor and is the UK's youngest licences jumps trainer, has doubled the number of horses under his care from 20, last season, to 40 now.

Last year's Racing Post Chase winner 'opening batsman', also under Fry's care, is due to run in the feature race at Ascot next Saturday (November 2nd)
