Weymouth expect a packed out Bob Lucas stadium for their FA Cup qualifying match against Braintree. Their opponents, who play 2 leagues above the Terras, are currently 4th in the table and have scored 9 goals in their last 5 games.

Weymouth comes into the match with 2 strong performances under their belts.

A win could put them up against top league opposition in the next round.

Manager Brendan King told Wessex FM they're not feeling the pressure;

"They're the ones expected to win. It would obviously be nice to win and get a decent draw in the next round. But they're the side who're 2 leagues above so they'll be expected to win the game. So we can go in there relax and enjoy it and hopefully pull something out the bag and get a decent result."

Elsewhere Dorchester are back at home after picking up their first away league win of the season last week.

The Magpies have played better on the road and will have something to prove to their dedicated fans at the Avenue this afternoon when they host Basingstoke.

Speaking to us midweek boss Phil SImkin said he hoped the tide had now turned for the club after a turbulent start to the season.

And Bridport are in cup action too, they take on Melksham Town in the preliminary round of the Les Philips Cup.

The Bees continue to struggle with their form with only 3 wins in all competitions this season.
