Phil Simkin's men tackle newly promoted Concord Rangers while there are tough away games for Weymouth and Bridport

It's all change in Weymouth and Dorchester Town vying for a league win this weekend.

There's still plenty of football left in the run up to Christmas for our local teams.

Dorchester Town have been slowly improving after a dismal start to the season.

They could leapfrog 4 places up the table with a win over Concord Rangers this afternoon (Saturday 14th December).

The Magpies are on a good run of form claiming 7 points from the last 4 league games and sealing a last minute midweek win over Tonbridge Angels.

Manager Phil Simkin told Wessex FM his senior players have been a real driving force behind recent improvements and they're starting to finally look like a team again.

Elsewhere, manager Brendon King and his assistant are gone in Weymouth after a poor run of results.

They take on Banbury United on the road. Only time will tell if the decision to get rid of the management duo will bring the Terras new fortune and get them back on track.

There's a  tough match for Bridport who take on top of the league Larkhall Athletic.

However Trevor Senior's squad are on top form and undefeated in their last 7 matches.
