Boxing Day Defeats for Dorchester and Weymouth

But Bridport earned a point in a 3-all draw at Street which lifts them to 10th place in the league

There were defeats for Dorchester and Weymouth but a draw for Bridport in the Boxing Day football fixtures.

The Magpies lost 2-1 at home to promotion chasing Eastleigh, Josh Wakefield netting a spectacular effort for the home side. The two sides meet again on New Year's Day for the reverse fixture. Magpies are still bottom of the Skrill South table on goal difference.

Weymouth were walloped 3-nil  at home by Poole Town in front of a crowd of more than one thousand. They've now dropped to 16th in the Calor Southern League.

Bridport looked on course to take all 3 points against Street when they tool a 3-nil lead with goals from Jamie Filkins, Dan Wise and Tom Richardson only for the home side to fight back to earn a share of the spoils.

The draw lifts Bridport into 10th place in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division.
