Dorset Coach on Special African Trip
8:02am 23rd February 2014
A Portland cricket coach is heading off to Uganda today (23rd) to help teach the sport and spread a vital health message.
Grant Neven from Portland Red Triangle has been chosen as a volunteer for the Cricket Without Boundaries project.
The charity uses cricket as a tool to fight against the spread of HIV and AIDS through an awareness programme.
25 million people are living with the disease in Africa and around 2 point 7 million adults and children are infected each year.
