A Dorset Racehorse Trainer's Got One of The Favourites The Scottish Grand National

Horse Racing

10:11am 12th April 2014

Dorset racehorse trainer Harry Fry has one of the favourites for this afternoon's Scottish Grand National.

Mendip Express runs today after missing the Cheltenham Festival.

The eight year old novice has a competitive weight. His biggest rival is Tidal Bay, who unseated his rider during the Grand National at Aintree last weekend.

Fry will be hoping his horse, which hasn't run since early February, will be fresh despite an eight hour road trip from Seaborough to Ayr.

Noel Fehily rides, and hopes to land the stable's biggest win of the season.
