Wrestling Coming To Dorchester

9:41am 19th May 2014

It seems like there's a new thirst for Wrestling in Dorset.

A new team of grapplers have launched their own company, Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UWP), and they're putting on an event in Dorchester at the end of the month (Saturday 31st).

The scrap at the Corn Exchange will be the first wrestling event in the county town for nearly a decade and it'll feature international superstars from as far as New Zealand.

UPW star "Robbie Much" told us the events they put on have a bit of everything;

"It's an unnatural body thing to do. The guys we have they put their lives in each other's hands. It's an amazing thing to watch from a fans point of view, the expressions on people's faces you see in the crowd when watching our shows is unbelievable, there's shock, sadness, there's anger, all sorts."

There are 5 bouts on the UWP night featuring big name wrestlers and some local talent too.

If you get a ticket in advance you gain entry first so you can avoid a scrum for a spot because there's no reserved seating.
