Emergency Shareholders Meeting At Weymouth FC
8:14am 24th May 2014
An emergency meeting to address speculation over where Weymouth Football Clubs will play in the future, is being held this morning (Saturday 24th May 10am).
The Terras had previously rejected plans from Wessex Delivery LLP to move from the Bob Lucas to a new stadium at Lodmoor.
But the Weymouth board has done a u-turn and called today's high profile meeting.
They're expected to ask shareholders to vote in favour of a motion, supporting the board in continued discussions over where the club will play.
Shareholders who can't make the EGM have been given the option of a proxy vote, that allows fellow shareholders to vote on their behalf.
