In statement to Wessex FM, Weymouth FC said;
"The Weymouth FC Board would like to say a big thank you to the Chairman Mr Abdul-Aziz Bin Mussallam for the Riviera Hotel being our main sponsor. The Chairman was extremely interested in Weymouth FC, which is in its 124th year and was happy that the Riviera Hotel was able to publicly support Weymouth FC as well as the community in this way. He also wanted to thank the Weymouth FC Supporters Association for donating the Riviera Hotel the Home and Away framed shirts which take pride of place on the wall behind the reception desk."
