Dorchester Suffer Huge Defeat Against AFC Bournemouth

The Magpies were beaten 11-0 on Saturday when they played host to the Cherries in a pre-season friendly.

Dorchester and Weymouth both welcomed big opposition on Saturday in their latest pre-season friendlies.

The Magpies were soundly beaten by AFC Bournemouth, as Eddie Howe brought his first team to the Avenue Stadium, and it wasn't long before Harry Arter got their first goal, with Matt Ritchie and Callum Wilson among the scorers, and the final score was 11-0 to the Cherries.

Dorchester play Bridport away tomorrow night (Tuesday 22 July)

Weymouth welcomed Plymouth Argyle to the Bob Lucas, and took the lead twice, before the visitors equalised. Chris Shephard and Stewart Yetton both scoring for the Terras, and it finished 2-2.

They face Portland Utd in a friendly on Tuesday evening, kick off at 6:30pm.

Meanwhile Bridport travelled to Chard Town, and beat them 4-2.
