Neal Butterworth is standing down as Chairman of Dorchester Town Football Club.

Making the announcement on the Magpies website, Mr Butterworth says the change is in the best interests of the club.

He thinks a new chairman's needed who can invest time into the role to bring in the money the club needs to survive and is urging supporters to continue to turn out.

Director of Football Matt Lucas will take over until a new Chairman is appointed.
