Time Running Out To Vote For Dave

He's spent most of his life dedicated to football in Dorset and now Dave Drage needs your help in making him man of the match.

Dave's up for a national award for his work at Chickerell FC over the last 17 years with the youth and senior team.

He's a regional finalist in the FA Community Awards and needs your vote - but time's running out as the competition closes on Friday 1st August.

Dave is very modest about his achievements so far.

"Even though it is an individual award I look at it that it's a lot of kids and people that have got me to where I am with help.  And it's their kids enthusiasm that has kept me going for the amount of years that I've been doing it."

Dave's spent the last 17 years at Chickerell - and says boys he taught as children are now coming back with their kids.
"Only the other day a lad turned up with his little boy and he said remember when you used to teach me when I was a little boy, well now you're going to be teaching my little boy - so it's quite rewarding in that respect."
